Komatsu America, Rolling Meadows, IL, announces the addition of the WA480-6 wheel loader with large capacity torque converter to its fleet.  With a net horsepower of 299 HP, the WA480-6 has an operating weight of 55,920 to 56,340 pounds and a dumping clearance of 10'6" when equipped with a 6.0 yd general purpose bucket. The new model is equipped with a 48-foot folding discharge conveyor.  The design gives users the flexibility to hit higher feed points, eliminating the need for transfer conveyors between the truck unloader and larger radial stacking conveyors like Superior's TeleStacker conveyor. Garlock Sealing Technology, Palmyra, NY, has developed a new ultra-low emission, high-temperature valve stem spool packing designed to simplify leak detection and repair in the hydrocarbon and chemical processing industries.  The Style 212-ULE meets global emission standards, and was successfully fire-tested to API 589.  Packing comprises two unique types of graphite packing.
