Heroes Among Us, the memorial in honor of the nine men who died as a
result of the August 2007 Crandall Canyon mine collapse, will be
officially unveiled in Huntington, Utah on Sunday, September 14,
2008. The monument, created by sculptor Karen Jobe Templeton,
consists of deep-relief bronze portraits of each of the nine men --
the six miners trapped in the mine collapse facing the three miners
who died during the failed rescue effort -- set in a 16-foot long,

former Kennecott Utah Copper executive, appointed to run Peabody
Energy's coal mining operations in Wyoming's Powder River
Basin. Hull will oversee all aspects of Peabody's three surface
mines, which in 2007 shipped 161.5 million tons of coal. Hull
joined Peabody in May 2007 as senior vice president of
engineering and technical services. Before that, Hull was VP of
operations at Kennecott, a VP and GM of Spring Creek Coal, Rio
Tinto, and spent 12 years with Mobil Mining and Minerals,
